The fabric is a brocade blend of silk and rayon. The "Hǎishuǐ Jiāngyá" (sea and cliff) pattern is inspired by the motifs found on Qing Dynasty court robes, composed of sea, waves, auspicious clouds, and rocks, symbolizing "Shòu Shān Fú Hǎi" (longevity mountains, blessed seas). Its colors exhibit variations in warmth and coolness, light and dark, and depth, creating a visually dynamic beauty that is both diverse and harmoniously unified. The designer's inspiration for this collection also stemmed from discovering how the luxurious, imperial hues of this fabric bore a striking resemblance to the vibrant colors of traditional Zongzi (rice dumplings) wrapped in green leaves with twine.
