Participants joining this activity will be guided by the team managing Site 53, "53 Hui Yi Site," to explore the interior and exterior of the military barracks, experiencing the process of cyanotype creation together. Under the interplay of sunlight and imagery, you will personally craft a unique memory of Matsu. After the workshop, 53 Hui Yi Site will thoughtfully provide a cyanotype DIY kit, allowing you to recreate your artwork at home and reminisce about your wonderful time in Matsu. Introduction to Cyanotype Techniques and Materials A brief overview of the principles, historical background, and materials used in cyanotype (Cyanotype), guiding participants to understand this imaging technique that blends science and art. Practical Workshop Guidance • Under guidance, engage in cyanotype creation. You can freely choose Matsu landscape negatives or utilize local flora from around the site for composition and exposure, experiencing the image-making process. Artwork Completion and Local Flavors Experience • After completing your artwork, participants are invited to savor local beverages while admiring the sea view and the scenery of the site, enjoying a moment of relaxation post-creation. • Fee includes: On-site experience, one complete DIY kit, one local beverage. • Activity Address: Site 53, Nangan, Lienchiang County. • Activity Schedule and Dates: Open year-round during fixed time slots for experience. If the activity cannot proceed as scheduled on the day due to inclement weather (rain), a full refund will be issued.
