This is a delicate double strand necklace crafted by connecting Shan (Myanmar) vintage carnelian, ancient quartz, pale green and orange seed beads, antique emerald blue beads, and old Orissa brass. The beads, with their captivating beautiful striped patterns, are carnelian used by the Shan people of Myanmar. While the exact age is unknown, they are vintage pieces over 50 years old. These small yet mesmerizing beads possess a beautiful gradation. You can observe the "eye" pattern. Despite some scratches, these quartz pieces offer a profound sense of depth and character. The pale green beads are antique seed beads from India, dating back to around the 19th-20th century. These slightly translucent beads possess a beautifully soft hue and were likely worn as personal adornments. The anchor-like charms flanking the golden beads and ancient agate are old Orissa brass from India, a rare and antique material. The small round charms near the clasp are also old brass from India.
