Art Nouveau was popular from 1890 to 1910. It was the internationally popular art style at that time and paved the way for the subsequent "art deco" movement. However, "New Art" is not just an artistic style, it is the largest design movement in the early twentieth century. To this day, we can still see the traces of this movement everywhere, such as the design of the entrance of the Paris subway station, the Spanish Sagrada Familia like an organic creature, or the Mucha posters in the art museum, the light and elegant girl is intoxicating, and the separation Pai master Klimt's gorgeous decorative paintings. The various peculiar plant patterns in Art Nouveau incorporate the rhythmic lines of symbolism, coupled with modern industrial technology, ranging from graphic posters, jewelry, lighting, furniture, to interior design and architecture, presenting an overall style, showing The pulsation of history at that time.
This porcelain doll is exquisite in appearance, typical of the German Art Nouveau style. A lady took off her mask and left the carnival venue with the help of the maid. She was close to the triangle shape, which was full of dynamic expression. The lady held the robe with her left hand and looked up, as if she was watching the fireworks at the end of the event. The little maid clung to the master, on the one hand supporting the master, and on the other hand, following the mistress's gaze, watching the scene that made her reluctant. The water wave-like clothing pattern of the maid and the blue plush coat of the lady are matched with the character design, which is a rare special porcelain figure.
The Schichz Kiln was established in 1816 as a family business and did not start producing porcelain until the end of the 19th century. At the beginning of the twentieth century, the family was awarded the title of nobility, and the kiln was renamed von Schechz kiln in 1910. In the 1930s, the kiln stopped porcelain production. Although porcelain has been produced so far, it is no longer the company's key product. The porcelain dolls of this porcelain kiln are rare, and many are even tailor-made according to customer needs.
