Residing in Taiwan, this self-proclaimed "stamp carving professional" works diligently in an old apartment in Taipei, creating and living through her craft. Formerly an editor for magazine and book publishers, she now focuses full-time on stamp design. Each season, she releases original handmade creation stamps. Her collected works, volumes 1-8, feature over 100 unique stamps. Her published books include: "A Handmade Life in 12 Hours a Week," "Rubber Stamps, Open the Door!", and "12 Lessons for Beginner Rubber Stampers: Next Stamp Class." Utilizing erasers as her primary carving medium, each stamp is meticulously crafted with every stroke. Her stamp designs often blend everyday discoveries, inspirations from travels and encounters, and cherished interests (text / flora / geometry / nature / architecture, etc.). She employs techniques of deconstruction and reconstruction, intricate layering of lines and planes, complemented by minimalist primary and secondary lines, foreign text, and meticulously noted symbolic elements to compose her stamp imagery. She enjoys combining stamps and colors, orchestrating solo performances, collaborations, and repetitions among various stamp sizes. Many of her graphic designs originate from snippets of her stamps, extended through stamping and combinations into designs such as postcards and washi tape.
