Artist Zhang Yanfeng originally lived in Zhongzhi, Taiwan. In 1995, she moved to Miaoli with her husband Zhan Xunwen. She fell in love with the soil of Miaoli and has been inseparable from the clay for more than 20 years. She has won numerous domestic awards and even won The honor of first place in ceramics at the Miaoli Local Art Exhibition. In order to fulfill her childhood wish, Zhang Yanfeng chose to settle in Nanzhuang, a place with beautiful natural environment, and live a self-sufficient life. In her spare time, she devoted herself to the world of hand-made pottery. She did not follow the mainstream creation but followed the traction of the clay itself, and freely displayed the most authentic works. The product appearance is currently passed down to the second generation, with daughter Zhan Yating specializing in marketing and publicity models and continuing to create the ideal pottery garden.
