This is a system notebook that opens with a hinge crafted from leather and thread. It is A5 size (paper size is 210 x 148 mm, 6-hole type). The distinctive leather hinge is made using a method we have researched and developed ourselves. It involves intricate cutting and shaping, followed by the painstaking process of finely shaving each individual tooth to adjust the interlocking mechanism. The advantages of the hinge extend beyond its unique appearance. It opens flat, preventing the notebook from closing on its own due to creases. The parts that bend with opening and closing are also less prone to extreme deterioration. The material is a thick, 2mm-thick vegetable-tanned cowhide, known for developing a beautiful patina over time. The A5 size is the largest and is considered ideal for business use. The ring diameter is 15mm, suitable for approximately 100 sheets of paper. As a starting point, we include 50 sheets of our preferred "Stanza Ricordi Memoire Refill A5 RF-G-01" 5mm graph paper. We've included enough to get started right away for newcomers, while keeping it practical for experienced users. With a wide variety of commercially available paper, diaries, indexes, and clear pockets, you can freely combine them to create a planner that is uniquely yours. For maintenance, please use a delicate cream sparingly. Since this item is not subjected to the same stresses as bags or shoes, the natural oils from your hands are often sufficient. In fact, be cautious about over-applying leather creams or oils. The metal binder rings are designed with screws, allowing for replacement if damaged.
