I then hand-sewed it into a stole myself. The scent of osmanthus fills the air, its sweet fragrance lifting the spirits on the breeze. I imagined the petals dyeing the sky, as if painted across a cloudy expanse. The gentle bleed of watercolour paints into the chiffon fabric creates a design that can be enjoyed just by looking at it.
