We've transformed memories of landscapes from distant, far-off lands visited on our travels into a brooch, using the art of wood marquetry. Wood marquetry is a technique where pieces of wood with different natural colors are precisely fitted together like a puzzle to create patterns or images. Some of the black dots and lines are created by carefully scorching the wood. No artificial coloring is used; all colors are derived from the natural wood itself. Each piece is meticulously crafted, celebrating the unique grain of every wood. You can attach it as an accent to your clothing, or perhaps to a hat or a simple bag... When hung on a wall, it becomes a charming little picture.
