It is not recommended to place ceramicware in electric steamers, microwaves, ovens, or over direct heat. Avoid sudden temperature changes to prevent cracking or damage, unless the item is specifically made from refractory clay. 2. If using ceramics as tableware, thoroughly rinse and clean off any surface dust before the first use. For cleaning, use a sponge or soft scrub pad with a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive materials like steel wool, which can scratch the surface. Afterward, dry with a cloth and air dry in a well-ventilated area to prevent mold. 3. Safe for hot water and food. The glaze surface may gradually develop fine cracks upon heating and cooling, which is a normal occurrence. Each mark of use will be absorbed by the ceramic, imbuing it with the warmth of your daily life. 4. Matte glazes may show tea stains or dark food marks more readily than glossy glazes. Crazed areas can accumulate tea and coffee stains, serving as a record of use. These can be cleaned with baking soda, citric acid, or a magic eraser.
