The name "Curved Stem Orchid" (Qū Jīng Lán) comes from its stem, which grows in a distinctive zigzag pattern. The leaves on the flowering stem become smaller, creating a unique appearance of large leaves enclosing smaller ones. It serves as a food source for the larvae of various butterfly species. This orchid is found in mid-elevation mountain areas of central and southern Taiwan, as well as in the forests of Orchid Island. Its trumpet-shaped flowers, with their gradient of pale purple, are a captivating sight in the wild. These are handcrafted earrings, featuring elements drawn from original hand-painted watercolors.
