Urban Little Face Wash Bag (Upcycled Fire Hose Special Edition)

Crafted from water-repellent, lightweight PU leather. Features a non-slip rubber sole made from upcycled fire hoses. The wash bag can be carried by hand, hung on the side, or placed on a tabletop. The whimsical little face pattern adds a touch of everyday joy. Its size makes it suitable not only as a wash bag but also for organizing cables and small essentials. Fire hoses are a common sight in all office buildings and homes, integrated into our lives. However, fire hoses have a lifespan of approximately 7-10 years. After retirement, due to their primary rubber material, they are non-recyclable and non-biodegradable, leading to disposal as large waste. Yet, rubber is inherently a durable and non-slip material. Thus, Entadar's "Ocean Drift Project" brand, while researching functional materials that are water-repellent and wearable, discovered that fire hoses align with the international trend of upcycling. In this proposal, we aim to utilize retired fire hoses as a material to develop new upcycled products. In response to environmental consciousness, Entadar has dedicated considerable time to research and material sourcing, ultimately finding retired fire hoses. This aligns with the brand's core concept of waterproof materials. Fire hoses, made of rubber, are durable and non-degradable, retiring after reaching their service limit. The rubber material itself also offers an added benefit of being non-slip, which we have incorporated into the base of the wash bag to enhance its functionality.
