・Ryukyu Glass... Glassware production in Okinawa began around the mid-Meiji period, boasting a history of approximately 100 years.
In 1998, Ryukyu glass was designated as a "Traditional Craft."
Each piece of Ryukyu glass is handcrafted by artisans, possessing a pleasing thickness and a softly rounded form.
This distinctive roundness originates from the process of blowing air through a blowpipe.
The air bubbles, which evoke the feeling of Okinawa's sea and coolness, are a unique charm of Ryukyu glass.
The vibrant and captivating Ryukyu glass carries meanings imbued in each color.
- Red
Represents the "sun." Red is said to enhance luck in love and finances, as well as bring happiness, health, and the realization of wishes.
- Transparent
Symbolizes "good fortune." The transparency of the glass is believed to cultivate sincerity, honesty, and foresight. Furthermore, this transparent honesty is said to lead to trust and ultimately success.

■ Please read carefully before purchasing ■
Regarding the Work:
※ The findings and the base of the Kintsugi portion are reinforced with UV resin. Please understand that there may be slight resin overflow.
※ For some works (such as translucent items like sea glass or natural stones), the findings may be changed to silver. The material will remain the same, so please do not worry.
※ Kintsugi is... A traditional Japanese technique for repairing ceramics that have been damaged by chips, cracks, or breakage, using lacquer and gold powder to restore them beautifully.
※ Instead of genuine urushi lacquer, we use new urushi (which is less likely to cause skin irritation) and gold powder (brass powder).
※ As natural stones are natural, they may contain impurities, fine scratches, or small chips. Please understand that these are natural variations.
※ Please understand that variations in glaze are characteristic of handmade items.
The sides of Mino ware tiles, in particular, often show such variations.
※ Individual sensitivities to metal, resin, and urushi lacquer vary. If you experience any skin reactions, please discontinue use and consult a dermatologist.
We are not responsible for any injuries or allergic reactions caused by the product.
※ The actual color may vary slightly from the product image depending on your monitor, brightness, and screen environment.
Handling Instructions:
※ Please handle gently, as applying strong force may cause damage.
※ Be careful not to rub the Kintsugi portion forcefully or immerse it in water for extended periods, as this may cause it to detach.
When cleaning, gently wipe away dirt with a soft cloth.
※ Store away from high temperatures, high humidity, and direct sunlight to prevent discoloration.

※ Kintsugi (or Kintsukuroi) is a unique Japanese traditional repair method that joins broken or chipped ceramics using lacquer and gold powder. We use a simplified Kintsugi technique. Unlike genuine urushi lacquer made from the sap of the lacquer tree, we use new urushi (which is less likely to cause irritation) and gold powder (brass powder), along with UV resin for reinforcement.
