European leather typically has fewer surface imperfections and scars compared to American leather, and is generally more premium and expensive. • Genuine leather, much like human skin, may occasionally show minor healed scars or natural growth lines. We strive to minimize these during production. │ Leather Characteristics │ • Slight variations in color depth between batches are natural. Vegetable-tanned leather also deepens in color with use, developing a richer, caramel hue over time. • Like human skin, natural leather has pores. It will absorb moisture if it comes into contact with water, and faint water marks may appear after air-drying, which is a natural occurrence. The product is treated with maintenance oil upon completion to reduce moisture absorption and staining. • Avoid prolonged immersion in water. If accidentally wet, place it in a well-ventilated area to air dry naturally, away from direct sunlight. • Light scuffs can be gently wiped with a clean cotton cloth. Deep oil stains are difficult to remove and will fade over time; please handle with care! Embrace the journey with a relaxed attitude. │ Leather Dyeing │ • The series retains the brushstroke texture of hand-dyeing. Through repeated trials, we've achieved our most satisfying shades and color ratios, making each piece unique. • Dyed items will not typically fade with normal use, but vegetable-tanned cowhide's color saturation may naturally decrease over extended periods. • Undyed leather is close to beige and will deepen in color and develop patina with individual use and habits, much like a diary recording our life stories. │ Leather Care │ • Frequent use is the best form of care, allowing the natural oils from your hands to nourish the leather. If the edges feel dry, you may apply a leather maintenance oil. • Store in a dry place. You can stuff the interior with clean white cotton cloth or old clothing to prevent deformation from pressure.
