The cover of the "RO-BIKI NOTE" is made from waxed paper. With use, it develops a vintage character through subtle darkening and natural wear. The interior pages are crafted from Soliste paper, suitable for everything from pencils and ballpoint pens to fountain pens and dip pens. The thread-bound construction ensures durability, allowing the notebook to be opened 360° and withstand prolonged use without pages detaching. The "RO-BIKI NOTE Texture Series" is a new collection that explores how waxing can further enhance the inherent textures of the paper itself. Embossed patterns created by engraved press rolls and nuanced colors derived from carefully controlled pigments gain a deeper character after waxing. The interplay of transparency, influenced by varying wax saturation, adds another layer of visual interest. Edocha (江戸茶) This "tea brown favored by Edo" was popular during the Edo period. It is thought that the name "Edo" was added to signify a new color distinct to Edo, in contrast to Kyoto, which was the capital at the time.
