The name "curved stem" in Bulbophyllum welwitschii comes from its zigzag stem growth. The leaves on the flowering stem become smaller, creating a unique appearance of large leaves enveloping smaller ones. It serves as a food source for the larvae of various butterflies. Distributed in the mid-elevation mountains of central and southern Taiwan, as well as in the forests of Lanyu Island. Its trumpet-shaped flowers, combined with gradient light purple hues, are quite eye-catching in the wild. Handcrafted piece inspired by original hand-painted watercolor art.
