Bracelet with Ancient Agate, Shan Carnelian, Ash-Blue Beads, Old Chin Silver & Orissa Brass, Jet Beads (Old Coin Clasp)

This is a bracelet connecting ancient agate, Shan tribal carnelian, ash-blue beads, old Chin silver & Orissa brass, and jet black beads. It features beautiful ancient agate with translucent, striking stripes. These pieces were unearthed in the Indus River basin, spanning regions like Pakistan and India, and date back approximately 2000 years. The beauty of the striped patterns can be appreciated when held up to the light. As these are antique items, there may be small scratches or chips. (Ancient Agate Size: Width 0.7cm, Diameter 0.8cm) The oval orange beads are carnelian used by the Shan tribe (Myanmar). While the exact period is unknown, these are vintage items over 50 years old. They are small carnelian beads with beautiful stripe patterns. (Vintage Carnelian Size: Length 1cm, Diameter 0.6cm) The jet black beads are antique beads from India. Their worn texture offers a unique charm, characteristic of items cherished for years. (Circa 19th-20th century) Each tiny bead varies in size and shape, creating a rich, expressive quality. (Bead Size: 3mm) The ash-blue and indigo blue beads are antique beads known as Indopacific beads. The origins of Indopacific beads are said to date back to the 2nd century BC. These particular beads are excavated items from Indonesia, dating back an astonishing 1000 years or more to around the 10th century! The amber-colored beads near the clasp are White Heart beads, named for their white core. These are from Venice, circa 19th-20th century. Small, deep red White Heart beads are placed near the clasp. The golden beads and the anchor-like charm beside them are old Orissa brass. These are rare, old beads from the state of Orissa in India. The charm on the clasp is also an old brass component from India. An old coin has been used for the clasp. While its exact origins are unknown, it is believed to be quite ancient. Its worn texture is incredibly cool! The beads on the loop of the clasp are Karen silver. Each small Karen silver bead on the clasp is individually stamped! It's mind-boggling to think that all of this is done by hand... ◇ Karen Silver ◇ This silver is crafted by a hill tribe living in Thailand and Burma. It is said to be very pure, with each piece being handmade. Connected with waxed cord, it may feel slightly stiff initially but will become supple with wear. This bracelet captivates with its delicate yet substantial presence.
