Under strict regulations by the US Federal Trade Commission, gold-filled products must contain at least 5% (1/20) of pure gold by weight. This 5% pure gold is repeatedly pressure-bonded to a high-quality brass core at high temperatures, forming a permanent layer. The advantages include a refined texture, being hypoallergenic, and long-lasting color retention. ║ Titanium Steel ║ Also known as medical steel, this is a type of stainless steel. It's commonly used in medical devices implanted in the human body. The titanium steel sold in our shop is vacuum-plated, which offers better color retention than the more common electroplating methods. Advantages include a wider variety of designs, being hypoallergenic, and good color retention. ║ Care Instructions ║ Avoid wearing while swimming, showering, visiting hot springs, at the beach, sleeping, or in contact with chemicals. Avoid forceful pulling or collisions, which could cause the chain/cord to break or the gemstones to fracture. When not in use, store in the provided resealable bag. ║ Important Notes ║ Natural gemstones are not perfect and may have minor imperfections such as mineral inclusions, ice cracks, internal lines, cotton-like inclusions, or small dark spots. We select gemstones that are aesthetically pleasing from a normal social viewing distance. Natural pearls may also have minor markings like growth lines, whorl lines, or wrinkled surfaces (other exceptions will be noted).
