Teak armrest dining chair

This dining chair is assembled using mortise and tenon joints, and the curvature of the armrests and backrest are carefully calculated to fit the general body shape. The back and side of the chair are hand-polished with full and rounded features, and each joint and corner is curved to create smooth and detailed lines, showing the exquisite touch of the young makers.
The seat surface is made in collaboration with Shen Maolai and Guo Shuhui, the traditional old craftsmen of Tainan Guanmiao. The chair surface is hand-woven with first-class natural rattan. The curve of the seat surface makes the ride more comfortable and also enhances the overall warm and moist effect visually.
