**Sandalwood and Lotus**
This summer has been intensely hot, and it's now drawing to a close.
Lying in the yard again, gazing at the vast expanse of stars, I'm reminded of childhood.
The adults would be cooling off, while my siblings and I chased shadows. The pond buzzed with the sounds of frogs, and the faint scent of lotus occasionally drifted by.
Tranquil companionship, a haven for the soul!
**Craftsmanship**
We've selected natural, sinking-grade Indian old sandalwood, a premium material known for its dark, dense, and oily quality, ensuring it will become even more lustrous with wear. This aged sandalwood emanates a rich, authentic aroma and possesses a satisfying weight.
**Sinking-Grade**: This is a key indicator of sandalwood's density and quality, signifying that the wood is dense enough to sink in water. Sinking-grade old sandalwood not only boasts high density but also intensifies its fragrance over time. Prized among old sandalwood varieties, it features a compact grain, fine texture, and deep hue.
Adorning this piece are intricately carved twin lotus buds crafted from exquisite Hetian jade in a jadeite green hue, complemented by matching jadeite round beads. A small, classical charm carved with traditional patterns, made from yellow-grained material, adds a touch of elegance, along with a tiny 14k gold-filled bead.
The bracelet offers a superior feel and quality, exuding a classic and elegant charm with auspicious symbolism. Don't miss out if you love it!

**Caring for Your Old Sandalwood**
1. Begin by gently rubbing the sandalwood bracelet with a soft cotton cloth or by wearing cotton gloves for about a week. This initial step helps to polish the surface.
2. Allow the beads to rest naturally for about a week. This allows them to dry and the surface to evenly interact with the air, forming a fine, protective oxide layer. Avoid high temperatures and direct sunlight.
3. Continue to polish with gauze or cotton gloves for about 20-30 minutes daily. After 1-2 weeks, you may notice a slightly tacky feel (instead of smooth), indicating that a thin patina has begun to form.
4. After this, let the beads rest again for about a week to allow the patina to harden.
5. Repeat the process. In about three to five months, the beads will develop a lustrous sheen.
Old sandalwood requires careful maintenance. Avoid contact with any liquids, as this can diminish its luster. When wearing, please refrain from smoking or spraying perfume on the hand wearing the bracelet, as this can interfere with the natural fragrance of the wood.
**Note**
A pair of cotton gloves will be included with your purchase!
