The bands possess significant elasticity, perfect for tying together multiple books or creating a temporary handle for small, awkward-to-carry furniture to facilitate transport. They offer a knot-free, easy-to-use alternative to ropes. The rubber X-bands were also featured in the 2004 exhibition "Workspheres" by the Department of Architecture and Design.
