These large beads were considered offering beads in ancient times. Rarely worn by ordinary people, they were mostly enshrined on altars or in temples. These unique totem-patterned ancient beads. Currently found only in Myanmar. Referencing the archaeological reference book **Ancient Beads and Jewellery of Myanmar**, page 77. The book features similar totem-patterned ancient beads. Dating back over 2,000 years. Due to the relatively dry burial environment and the impact of thousands of years of temperature fluctuations, the beads exhibit severe "ice crack" patterns and fissures, resulting in noticeable cracks on the bead surface. After excavation, local professional bead hunters used adhesive to secure them. This is to prevent further breakage from exposure to external temperature and other pressures... rendering the bead body further fractured!!! Without this repair, at a Thai bead exhibition, I heard from fellow dealers of Sasanid beads that one piece was priced at 100,000 Thai Baht. Stainless steel loops have been added to both ends.
