Material Descriptions: The 14k gold-filled material predominantly used by mixandfun features a layer of 1/20 14k gold electroplated onto a brass base. This has become a popular choice in recent years for its ease of care, durability, and long-lasting color, offering a more accessible price point compared to solid 14k gold. Solid 14k gold, on the other hand, is crafted entirely from 14k gold (approximately 58.5% gold content, with the remainder being silver, iron, or copper). In Taiwan's climate, solid 14k gold requires even less maintenance and offers a more refined color. It's also a consideration for those with sensitive skin. Specially plated alloys are another material we frequently use. mixandfun carefully selects unplated chains that we then electroplate with unique finishes, ensuring the color remains vibrant under normal wear conditions. Wearing Precautions: 1. For all jewelry, please dress yourself before putting on your accessories. Upon returning home, remove your cherished pieces before changing into loungewear. It is not recommended to wear jewelry while bathing, soaking in hot springs, or swimming. 2. For earrings, we suggest attaching the included silicone stoppers to minimize the chance of loss. 3. Given Taiwan's warm and humid climate, if jewelry is not worn for extended periods, gently wipe it with a soft cloth before storing it in a sealed bag. 4. For delicate chains, make it a habit to fasten the clasp when removing them to reduce tangling. 5.
