White Crystal: Properties/Quartz family, trigonal system. Hardness/7.
Possessing pure light, with a transparent and clear appearance. White crystal is one of the most abundant natural minerals on Earth, with quartz veins found in many countries. Brazil, China, and Japan are particularly renowned for their high-quality mines. Quartz is not only widely used in jewelry design but is also deeply connected to our lives. Since World War II in 1939, quartz has been used in communication equipment and is also a key raw material for semiconductor silicon wafers today.
Amethyst: Properties/Quartz family, trigonal system. Hardness/7.
Note/Avoid sun exposure for purification.
Amethyst exhibits a beautiful purple luster due to the presence of iron elements. Its internal crystals range in color from light to deep shades, with some displaying dual colors, revealing captivating primary and secondary hues under different light angles. Often found in geode formations in alluvial deposits, it is one of the most important crystals in the quartz family. Heat treatment is frequently used to alter its color; deeply colored amethysts, when heated, turn yellow and become citrine. Brazil and Japan are known for their high-quality amethyst.
Obsidian: Properties/Amorphous. Hardness/5-5.5.
Obsidian has a smooth and delicate surface with rich colors. Due to its formation process and abundant mineral content, it exhibits diverse coloration. Varieties include snowflake obsidian with snow-like patterns on the surface, rainbow obsidian with a spectrum of colors, red obsidian containing iron oxides, and gold sheen obsidian. Also known as obsidianite or volcanic glass, it forms from the rapid cooling and solidification of magma and lava eruptions. It is primarily found near volcanic and seismic belts. The process of magma formation and cooling leads to a variety of subtle color variations, exhibiting iridescent effects from different facets, such as gold and gray.
Strawberry Crystal: Properties/Triclinic system. Hardness/5.5-6.5.
Note/Avoid sun exposure for purification.
Characterized by scattered dot-like inclusions within the crystal, resembling those found on strawberries, and its pinkish hue, much like the seeds on a strawberry, giving it its name. Strawberry crystal is a pink variety of quartz, a natural stone formed by white crystal enclosing hematite. Its crystals contain diverse pink inclusions, including dot-like or filamentous materials.
Aquamarine: Properties/Hexagonal system. Hardness/7.5-8.
Note/Avoid sun exposure for purification, as it may cause the stone to become colorless.
Aquamarine displays a transparent to translucent blue-green hue with a glass-like refractive luster. Its color originates from trace amounts of iron elements in the natural stone, which can transform into a pale blue when heated. Aquamarine, like emerald, belongs to the beryl family, with its main component being silicate. Its Latin name, derived from "AQUA" (water) and "MARINE" (sea), literally means seawater, and it derives its name from its soft and captivating color reminiscent of the sea.
Green Phantom Quartz: Properties/Trigonal system. Hardness/7.
Note/Avoid sun exposure for purification.
Green Phantom Quartz is also known as green ghost crystal. During its formation, volcanic mud attached to the crystal through volcanic and geological processes, creating formations within the crystal that resemble clouds and natural landscapes with rich layers. Its main chemical component is silicon dioxide, and it is extremely rare. It is called Green Phantom Quartz because the minerals formed by volcanic mud within the crystal, and its content of magnesium-iron compounds, are predominantly green.
Citrine: Properties/Quartz family, trigonal system. Hardness/7.
Citrine forms its natural yellow color due to the presence of trivalent iron ions. Its colors range from pale yellow to brown, with some exhibiting lemon yellow hues or containing cloudy inclusions, showcasing a variety of colors. Its English name comes from a citrus fruit with a bright yellow color. Additionally, amethyst can be heat-treated to become citrine. Therefore, heated citrine often originates from amethyst. Artificially heated citrine typically has a very uniform color and is more affordable.
Aventurine: Properties/Trigonal system. Hardness/7.
Note/Avoid sea salt and running water for purification, as they can cause the metallic elements to change color.
Aventurine has a texture as fine as chalcedony and possesses an oily luster, hence its name. Its verdant green hue, along with minerals like fuchsite, hematite, and rutile, causes many tiny bright spots to be visible when light passes through. Also known as "Dongling Stone," "Indian Jade," and "Ocean Stone," its main component is silicon dioxide, classifying it as quartzite. India has the largest production, while South American aventurine is fine and translucent, comparable to jade. Its color varies in depth depending on the included minerals.
Black Rutilated Quartz: Properties/Trigonal system. Hardness/7.
Within the transparent crystal, needle-like substances are scattered throughout, with inclusions resembling metallic threads and hair, hence its name. Crystals containing needle-like inclusions are generally called rutilated quartz and come in various colors. Common types include green rutilated quartz with green actinolite inclusions and golden rutilated quartz with rutile inclusions. Its primary mineral content is titanium dioxide. The filamentous substances in the crystal can appear as delicate hair-like strands or in flat, block-like forms.
Yellow Tiger's Eye: Properties/Monoclinic system. Hardness/6.5-7.
Tiger's eye, due to its iron oxide content, displays yellow-brown and blue colors. After mild heat treatment, the formation of abundant iron oxide results in red hues. The overall appearance features silky, lustrous bands with a smooth and delicate texture. Also known as tiger's eye stone, it exhibits a cat's eye effect from different angles. It is formed when quartz replaces the fibrous structure of crocidolite. This mineral exhibits a distinct cat's eye phenomenon within its parallel fibrous structure.
White Moonstone: Properties/Monoclinic system. Hardness/6-6.5.
Note/Avoid sun exposure and running water for purification, as they may damage the crystal or roughen its surface.
When the semi-transparent natural stone crystal is rotated, a moon-like halo can be observed, displaying three types of moon-colored iridescent effects: white, rainbow, and blue halos. Moonstone, also known as adularia, belongs to the feldspar family. The common moon-like iridescent color in this natural stone originates from the interlayered stacking of albite and orthoclase, forming the halo effect. When the natural stone has a higher proportion of orthoclase, it exhibits a blue moon halo, while a higher proportion of albite results in a more translucent milky white appearance.
Lapis Lazuli: Properties/Isometric system. Hardness/5-5.5.
Note/Avoid sea salt, sunlight, and running water for purification, as they can cause chemical reactions, turning the stone grayish-white.
Lapis lazuli is primarily characterized by its deep blue base color, with white veins formed by included calcite from its host rock. Its golden flecks are due to pyrite and chromium within the mineral, creating a surface reminiscent of a starry sky, full of fantasy and rich colors. It is mainly a composite of blue minerals. Ancient Egyptians discovered this natural stone thousands of years ago. It was not only used in jewelry design but also utilized for painting pigments due to its color and composition, with its color being known as "ultramarine blue."
Green Rutilated Quartz: Properties/Trigonal system.
Sunstone: Properties/Triclinic system. Hardness/6-6.5.
Sunstone produces a metallic glitter with golden reflections due to light interference, exhibiting a shimmering, sun-like sparkle, hence its name. It is a type of feldspar, rich in minerals like hematite and goethite within the crystal. The shimmering effect caused by the lamellar structure of these minerals, through different facets and light refraction, is known as the "aventurescence" or "sunstone effect."
Volcanic Rock: Properties/Cryptocrystalline. Hardness/5-5.5.
Volcanic rock has a distinctly porous appearance and is predominantly black or gray, with a unique original form. Also known as igneous rock or magmatic rock, it is rich in various trace elements, with silicon dioxide being the most abundant. It is a type of rock formed from the cooling and solidification of magma and lava within the Earth's crust.
Rutilated Quartz: Properties/Trigonal system. Hardness/7.
Rutilated quartz features diverse and varied crystalline inclusions, such as hair-like needles, scattered within the crystal. It is a mineral containing titanium dioxide, formed by mineral bodies of rutile or anatase. It possesses a richer titanium content and forms in plates, making the hair-like inclusions more prominent. It is difficult to obtain and commands a higher price, earning it the title "King of Crystals."
Smoky Quartz: Properties/Quartz family, trigonal system. Hardness/7.
Note/Avoid sun exposure for purification.
Smoky quartz presents a brown hue, ranging from light to deep grayish-brown. Its transparency varies from clear to opaque black. Its mineral color resembles smoke, hence its name "smoky quartz." The primary coloring agents are aluminum and silicon, which, upon natural irradiation, produce different colors. The mineral may also contain inclusions such as fractures or clouds.
Malachite: Properties/Monoclinic system. Hardness/3.5-4.
Note/Avoid running water, sea salt for purification, as they can cause chemical reactions. Sun exposure may cause color change, and prolonged use of fumigation can lead to smoke staining.
Malachite possesses a glassy luster and vibrant, bright colors with layers of varying shades of green, featuring intricate patterns reminiscent of a peacock's tail feathers, hence its name. It forms in the upper layers of copper ore deposits and is a copper carbonate mineral. It often coexists with copper minerals, resulting in different colors. When exposed to strong acids, it dissolves. As it dissolves and precipitates, it forms varying shades of green, often resembling concentric circles.
Rhodonite: Properties/Trigonal system. Hardness/3.5-4.5.
Note/Avoid sun exposure for purification, as it can cause fading. Sea salt and running water will cause oxidation and turn it black.
Rhodonite displays rose-like colors, ranging from pale pink to deep red, yellow, orange, and brown. The stone appears semi-transparent to opaque, with intermingled pink and milky white, oil-like band structures (also known as the "Bacon effect"). Rhodonite also has many beautiful names, such as "rhodochrosite," "Inca rose," and "Argentinian stone." Originating from the Andes Mountains in the Inca Empire, which is modern-day Argentina, its manganese content gives it its soft pink and red tones, along with a transparent, glassy luster.
Kyanite: Properties/Triclinic system. Hardness/4-7.5.
Note/Avoid sea salt, sunlight, and running water for purification, as they can damage the crystal or cause fading.
Kyanite has a glass-like transparent luster with irregular textures, displaying a range of deep and light blue tones. The color intensifies closer to the crystal's core, creating a beautiful and unique hue. Its name "KYANITE" means blue in Greek. Its unique color distribution and hardness make the natural stone difficult to cut, resulting in rare finished products. Its hardness varies with the crystal's orientation: when cut perpendicular to the crystal axis, its hardness can reach 7.5, while cutting parallel to it reduces the hardness to 4. This variation in hardness across different facets gives kyanite the name "disthene" (meaning two strengths).

♦ The crystals used by Slow Temperature are all natural crystals. However, our designs are not limited to this, and we may incorporate other suitable processed materials to achieve our designs.
Some natural crystals undergo high-temperature heating or coloring to enhance their vibrancy, such as blue chalcedony. Others are artificially produced, like red/blue/green sandstone (all sandstone on the market is artificial). If artificial or processed materials are used, they will be clearly indicated on the product page and in the detailed descriptions of all crystals. The rarity of the materials and the complexity of the processing will also be reflected in the product's price.
When choosing a style, we recommend selecting the one that appeals most to your eye or personal preference, rather than focusing solely on the crystal's supposed magnetic field or energy. This approach will ensure the product resonates best with you.

♦ **Estimated Delivery Time:** Production begins after payment. Items are shipped within 6-9 days. If completed earlier, they will be shipped promptly. Rush orders can be discussed and accommodated if possible.
♦ **Message Response Time:** Normal response hours are 11:00 - 19:00. Messages will not be answered on store holidays (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and will be replied to in order on business days.
♦ **Scope of Customization:** On this platform, we only offer customization of "wrist size." Further customization (such as re-styling or changing crystals) cannot be processed here.
♦ **Will the actual product look exactly like the photo?:** Natural gemstones cannot have identical color or crystal structures in every batch. This is especially true for crystals with internal inclusions (such as Green Phantom Quartz, Strawberry Crystal, Rutilated Quartz, Black Rutilated Quartz, etc.), where each piece will be unique. Furthermore, screen color variations exist. We strive to maintain consistency within reasonable limits. However, if you are seeking an exact replica of the photo, please reconsider, or consider visiting our physical store to make your selection, which will better meet your expectations!
♦ **Bead Size Indication:** There will be slight variations in size when gemstones are polished into beads (e.g., a 6mm indication does not mean every bead in a batch will be exactly 6mm; there will be minor differences). Therefore, we do not indicate individual mineral sizes. Please refer directly to the "Slow Temperature Natural Stones" product selection. Each product is categorized by approximate size, and you can also refer to photos of the actual worn items.
♦ **Number of Beads on Bracelet:** Generally, for standard wrist sizes, the number of beads will be "almost" the same. However, as mentioned above, slight variations in bead size during bracelet production (e.g., sometimes beads are 6mm, sometimes 6.5mm, etc.) may require minor adjustments at the end to ensure the correct bracelet length without it becoming too long. This is done by adjusting the number of beads.
♦ Slow Temperature mineral bracelets are made with **Japanese imported elastic thread**, which is strong and durable. With normal use, it can maintain its elasticity for over one to two years before loosening. Please wear with confidence.
