Before establishing the RED TORNADO brand, the core expertise of our team lay in washed denim. We possess extensive accumulated techniques and experience in this field. These washed denim jeans, with their double pleats, are a reproduction of a 1950s Japanese design. From yarn analysis to dyeing techniques, we've undergone numerous adjustments and sample creations to achieve the current washed effect. The depth of the fabric's texture, the distribution and fineness of the whiskering—every detail has been meticulously and thoroughly considered. RED TORNADO uses our proprietary denim fabric. The thickness before washing is 14oz, and after washing, it becomes 13oz. It will not shrink further after being laundered. The weight is suitable for subtropical climates, ensuring breathability and a soft, comfortable feel. The pocket lining is made of high-density twill woven from raw cotton. Washed together with the denim, the indigo dye's fading will subtly bleed onto the yellowish pocket fabric, creating a strong sense of vintage appeal. Unlike the exposed overlocked edges of the original Japanese version, RT has improved this with a concealed finishing treatment. The washed effect is truly remarkable. We suggest washing these jeans less frequently.
