Latest Krasnogorsk-3 cameras were equipped with Meteor-5 zoom lens, but any serious cameraman knows, that best image quality brings fix-focus lenses, even those lenses sometimes not so convenient as zoom lenses. You can test this idea with presented lens. ITEM'S CONDITION: AS-IS It looks that the lens was enough accurately used before and should bring nice images. The lens is enough clean, without separations or scratches, but some minor cleaning marks or pieces of dust inside can be found I had to place AS-IS condition in common because I found some fungus at rear optical element (at lateral parts). Aperture is smooth, focusing is smooth too. Cosmetically condition of the lens looks nice for above 50 years old lens, just examine item's photos, please. * Coated optics. * Focus: 50 mm. * Relative aperture: 1:2.1 (up to 1:22 without clicks). * Lens mount is special bayonet, same with Krasnogorsk, Krasnogorsk-2, 16SP-M and some Krasnogorsk-3 early issues cameras. Only difference between K-2 and 16-SP mounts is wider bayonet lugs on 16SP-M (10 mm), thus Krasnogorsk lenses can be used with 16SP cameras, but SP-16 lenses can't be used at Krasnogorsk without lugs modification. NOTE: Latest Krasnogorsk-3 cameras have M42 lens mount (known also as Pentax screw mount), and presented lens will not fit on it. * Will fit to MFT cameras if you'll find the adapter for it. * The lens was created especially for 16mm film, with 7.45x10.05mm frame size. Please be careful, that I DON'T SURE that the lens will completely cover all MFT frame sizes with good sharpness at corners, but people uses it now for such formats and looks happy with it... * Filter mount: 40.5x0.5 mm screw mount. * Pretty in using. * Black body finishing. * The lens was made in USSR at KMZ plant (Krasnogorsk) in 1969.
