FED-11 ATLAS RANGEFINDER CAMERA with INDUSTAR-61 52mm F2.8 LENS ABOUT ITEM'S ORIGIN (You can SKIP it!) FED-11 ATLAS camera produced in USSR at famous FED plant, which mostly issued simple Leica based rangefinder cameras. But ideas to create modern camera with semi-automatic exposition (like Kodak, for example) were popular here, and since 1964 FED-10 ATLAS had been introduced. Next FED-11 was almost same with previous FED-10. FED-11 ATLAS issued from 1967 to 1971. ITEM'S CONDITION: AS-IS The camera looks very accurately used before, it is in fine condition cosmetically... just examine item's photos to appreciate it, please. The lens is clean, without scratches and fungus, focusing is smooth. All shutter/exposure modes looks correct. Self-timer looks absent at this version of the camera. Film winding works properly. RF looks correct, VF is clean, parallax corrections is in working condition. Light meter is dead, it was the reason to place AS-IS condition even the camera still nice and usable. All functions are available except light metering. TECHNICAL FEATURES * Frame size 24x36mm. * Central shutter provide speeds 1 sec up to 1/250 and B. * Shutter cocking lever is very convenient. * Synchronization with electronic flash should work at all shutter speeds with central shutter. * Shutter release button standard conic groove for cable release. * Lens: Camera equipped with non-exchangeablu (built-in) coated lens "Industar-61L/D", it is a very sharp Soviet lens and it is a copy of famous Zeiss Tessar. Focal Length = 52mm, aperture from 2.8 to 16. * Resolution of the lens is not less than than 42 lines on mm in the center and 25 lines on mm on the edge of frame. * The aperture setting ring can be coupled with the shutter setting ring, so the two rings can be turned together to set different speed/aperture combinations for the same exposure number (locking lever will be at left side of the lens). * Film speeds: from 11 to 700 GOST (similar with ASA). * Metering pin indicates correct combinations of shutter speed and aperture in "A" mode. * Power source: selenium metering cell situated around the lens, it will account any filter's correction automatically. * Focusing from 0.8 m to infinity according with rangefinder or scale of distances (in meters). * Viewfinder with parallax correction moving frame. * Filter mount: 40.5x0.5 mm. * Tripod mount: standard groove 1/4 inch. * Dimensions: 127х97х107 mm. * Weight (without case): 0.77 kg, around 1 kg with case. * The camera was made in the Soviet Union at FED plant at Harkov city (Ukraine now) in 1970 (according with lens serial number).
