"FUGURO" is a remake that recreates this traditional custom. The materials are kimono fabrics with auspicious patterns, carefully selected from thousands of pieces sleeping in wardrobes. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted, imbuing it with the wish for the recipient's happiness. We use two colors of thread, matching the colors of the outer and inner fabrics. This pattern resembles the shell of a tortoise. In ancient times, this pattern was believed to possess spiritual power and was used only for nobility or mystical objects.
