The first generation Honami Koyue (Honami Koyue) and Takaya Soda established their style, the second generation Ogata Korin and the Kanyama brothers created a large number of works to carry forward it, and the third generation Sakai Hiroichi not only continued its style, but also The collection and announcement of the works of the predecessors has allowed the "Linpai" to be recognized by the society as a systematic genre. Compared with other schools of the Edo period, such as the Kano School, Maruyama and Shijo Schools, the painting skills were directly learned from the painters through imprinting. Lin brought considerable influence to European Impressionism, modern Japanese painting and design, and played a pivotal role in the history of Japanese art. The four most representative craft painters in the Lin School are listed in the chronological order of their appearance, namely Takaya Sotatsu, Ogata Korin, Sakai Koichi, and Kansaka Xuejia. The four craft painters did not know each other, and never even met. Because the eras they lived in were exactly about a hundred years apart. In the history of Linpai's development, they each represent a hundred years or a century. **The last Lin faction master, Kasaka Xuejia:** Kamisaka Sekka, considered the father of modern Japanese design, was born in Kyoto in 1866 and began studying painting at the age of 16. A trip to the Paris International Exposition in 1901 played a key role in his artistic career, which led to his in-depth study of modern European industrial design. Sekka became a master of Japan's historical traditional Rinpa, combining this traditional Japanese aesthetic with his own innovations to create stunning designs that are both contemporary and timeless. Features of Linpa dating back to the seventeenth century include the use of large, brightly coloured planes to create flat pictorial spaces, abstract compositions, and the use of mica and gold and silver foil. Sekka's designs incorporate traditional Linpa techniques and themes, such as Japanese stories and natural scenes, with groundbreaking, more abstract compositions and bright aniline dyes. In addition to paintings and woodblock prints, Sekka applies Linpa philosophy to decorative arts, including ceramics, lacquerware, textiles and screens, emphasizing the importance of beautiful design in everyday life. Sekka taught at the Kyoto Municipal School of Arts and Crafts, influencing many young artists and revitalizing traditional craft forms in Kyoto. Two of Sekka's masterpiece series are Chigusa, published in 1899, and Momoyogusa, designed from 1909 to 1910. These two stunning designs represent the pinnacle of Sekka's career and are classics in the Lynn School. The National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto held its first full-scale retrospective of Yukaka Kansaka in 2003, and the exhibition has since moved to the Los Angeles Museum of Art and the Birmingham Museum of Art in Alabama. Sekka is recognized as a master of modern design and a leader in 20th century Japanese art. **This series comes from a selection of "Hundred World Grass" as follows:** https://www.lightochan.com/image/data/Sekka/sekka-1_1.jpg https://www.lightochan.com/image/data/Sekka/sekka-2_1.jpg https://www.lightochan.com/image/data/Sekka/sekka-03_1.jpg https://www.lightochan.com/image/data/Sekka/sekka-04_1.jpg **Frameless painting**: Made of acid-free canvas + pine wood frame. https://image-cdn-flare.qdm.cloud/q665027dd6a3a4/image/data/2021/01/05/73830726a4fd3bce007fbcf2ceff03de.jpg **Walnut-colored aluminum frame**: Made of snow art paper + walnut-colored aluminum frame. https://image-cdn-flare.qdm.cloud/q665027dd6a3a4/image/cache/data/C3A9C2BDC3A6C3A6/ae9b460a719016c6c49520e0114b469e_1-max-w-1024.jpg
