We have meticulously applied Kintsugi to smooth, sea-worn pottery fragments and dyed crackled quartz chips, nestled amongst green agate fragments. ☆. :*・ ゚
Sometimes called Rainbow Quartz due to the iridescent hues that shimmer within when light strikes its internal fractures.
Like other forms of quartz, it is believed to offer protection and healing benefits.
The quartz itself is highly transparent, and its internal fractures create a beautiful, sparkling play of light.
Each sea pottery piece is unique, with distinct blue patterns on a white base for each earring, adding a charming touch. ( ̮̈ )
With ceramic pieces, depending on where the cracks appear, you can clearly discern the painted motifs, or it sparks curiosity about what the original design was, or where it might have been used... this element of imagination is one of its charms.
Many imagine ceramic to be heavy, but these weigh approximately 1g per earring, ensuring a light feel.
It's a delightful bonus that they are comfortable for extended wear, free from any stress.
As each piece is one-of-a-kind, they are perfect as a personal indulgence, for those who cherish uniqueness, or as a special gift for someone cherished...♪*゚
With a timeless design and understated colors, they are suitable for all ages.
They complement everyday wear like T-shirts, and for spring/summer, pair beautifully with blouses, shirts, jackets, or dresses. For autumn/winter, they add a touch of elegance to cardigans, knits, turtlenecks, or sweaters, and are versatile with both pants and skirts...♪*゚
Ideal as presents and gifts for birthdays, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas, job anniversaries, coming-of-age ceremonies, or baby showers, etc.
Their modern Japanese aesthetic also makes them a perfect accessory for traditional Japanese attire, such as yukatas for fireworks festivals or summer celebrations, or kimonos for O-tsukumi (a traditional meal for newborns), coming-of-age ceremonies, pre-wedding photoshoots, weddings, or Shichi-Go-San (a traditional rite of passage for children)...◎

〈About the artwork〉
※ The hardware and the base of the Kintsugi area are reinforced with UV resin. Please understand that there may be slight resin overflow.
※ For some pieces (such as those with translucent sea glass or natural stones), the hardware may be changed to silver depending on the artwork. Please rest assured that the material remains the same.
※ What is Kintsugi... It is a traditional Japanese technique for restoring ceramics that have been damaged by chips, cracks, or breaks, using lacquer and gold powder to make them beautiful again.
※ We use new urushi (lacquer), which is less likely to cause skin irritation, and gold powder (brass powder), rather than pure urushi.
※ As natural stones are natural, they may contain impurities, fine scratches, or small chips. Please understand that these are natural variations.
※ Please understand that glaze inconsistencies are characteristic of handmade items.
In particular, Mino ware tiles often have variations on their sides.
※ Due to individual differences in allergies to metals, resin, or urushi, please refrain from using if it does not suit your skin and consult a dermatologist.
We are not responsible for any injuries or allergic reactions caused by the product.
※ The actual color may differ slightly from the product's appearance depending on your monitor, brightness, and screen environment.
〈Care instructions〉
※ Please handle with care, as applying strong force may cause damage.
※ Please be careful not to rub the Kintsugi area vigorously or soak it in water for extended periods, as this may cause it to detach.
When cleaning, gently wipe away dirt with a soft cloth.
※ Store away from high temperatures, high humidity, and direct sunlight.

※ Kintsugi (golden mending) is a unique Japanese traditional repair method that mends cracked or chipped ceramics using lacquer and gold powder. We use a simplified Kintsugi method for our creations. Unlike true urushi made from the sap of lacquer trees, we use new urushi, which is less likely to cause skin irritation, and gold powder (brass powder). UV resin is also used for reinforcement.
