"Tenon" refers to a mortise joint, and Tenonart, as the name suggests, is art created using mortise and tenon techniques. Throughout their creative process, the team never relied on animal images or models for reference. Instead, they meticulously crafted each piece based on their imagination of the character's form and expression, refining it through continuous adjustments. The designers have an uncompromising standard for quality; they even developed a custom paperboard for Tenonart, as they couldn't find a suitable existing material. This specially developed paperboard meets their stringent requirements for laser engraving precision and rigidity. These inanimate paperboards, imbued with accumulated emotion, precise cutting, and careful assembly, transform from two-dimensional planes into three-dimensional forms. What's truly astonishing is how they seem to magically gain a soul, capturing fleeting moments and expressions from their stories. As you savor their gazes and postures, you'll completely forget they were once merely cold, flat paper. In 2009, Tenonart's debut piece, Adonis, collaborated with the bounce team's creativity, appearing in AMIT X bounce X Tenonart. It graced the back cover and inner pages of AMIT A-mei Chang's album "Amit." Furthermore, a 1:1 scale Adonis, adorned with AMIT's iconic fiery red antlers, made a striking appearance in the music video for "Come If You Dare" from the "Amit" album, offering a refreshing sight for all.
