Unlike seamless PU or patent leather, vegetable-tanned leather is natural and eco-friendly. It retains unique markings from the cow's life, such as scars, insect bites, growth lines, and veins, which are not considered defects. Minor indentations or scratches from processing, shipping, and crafting are also considered normal, provided they do not compromise the leather's integrity. Respecting the natural material, we do not (and cannot) entirely avoid these unique characteristics, except for major flaws. Please consider this carefully if you are sensitive to such markings. Additionally, even within the same brand, variations in dye lots, storage duration, and different parts of the same hide can affect color consistency.
