What is the wood-firing process?** American clay, Japanese clay, and Miaoli clay are kneaded in various proportions. The creation process involves pure hand-building (no potter's wheel) to gradually form the piece. After basic shaping, the lines of the body are refined, and then polished to complete the greenware. Once placed in the kiln, the wood-firing process using natural longan and acacia wood lasts for five days and four nights without interruption. The temperature reaches over 1200 degrees Celsius. During this time, natural ash deposits adhere to the works, forming a special ash glaze; simultaneously, kiln fire marks swirl among the pieces, creating beautiful orange-red or blue-purple patterns. After five days and four nights of ash and fire marks, a week of cooling is required for a piece to achieve its beautiful form! What should guests be aware of?** Product colors may vary slightly due to photographic lighting. As each piece is handcrafted, there will inevitably be traces of the maker's touch. Minor variations may also occur during the firing process; imperfections such as slightly uneven rims or minor firing marks are normal and do not affect usability.
