This pin features "Dinant," a city in the Namur province of Belgium's Walloon Region, situated on the Meuse River. It is a French-speaking area historically renowned for its metal craftsmanship.
The front displays the classic emblem of Dinant, featuring the city's name and an animal graphic (its coat of arms), complemented by Art Nouveau-inspired waves and floral lines, making it exceptionally rare.
The metal was originally darker; polishing has brought out a brighter sheen.
While not definitively pure silver, it doesn't appear to be plated either.
It is described as silver-toned.
A polishing cloth will be provided for the buyer.
