The leather cord is a wax leather cord, resistant to sweat. Both the metal chain and the leather cord should be avoided when bathing. The necklace pendant also requires avoiding wear during bathing. This is to prevent damage to the metal's protective layer and the wax coating on the surface of the wax leather cord.
