Why is the shelf life only 4 months, and the other jams are 1 year or even 2 years?
Other jams have a sugar content of 65~85, or add preservatives; and our handmade jams have a sugar content of about 40~50. The fruit content is high, it will have a rich taste, and no preservatives are added, so the shelf life is saved. Shorter. It is recommended to put the jam and put it in the refrigerator, except that it can be stored for a longer time and the taste will be better.
How long can the jam after opening?
This depends on the environment in which it is stored and whether the tools used for eating jam are dry. Normally, it can be stored for 3 weeks after being stored in a refrigerated package. But make sure that the tools for each jam are dry and the temperature at which it is refrigerated is normal.
Will the jam break?
Of course, we didn't add preservatives; our jam caps will be slightly sunken before opening, and there will be a small "beep" when opened, which means that the jam is vacuum-like.
The following conditions indicate that the jam has deteriorated and is not suitable for consumption:
1. The cap is inflated before opening, and there is a leaking sound when it is opened.
2. If the storage is improper after opening, the surface of the jam will be mildewed, and this situation can no longer be eaten.
3. If the storage temperature is not correct after opening, the jam may ferment and produce the taste of the wine. It is not recommended.
Because the jam is not suitable for long-term storage after opening, our handmade jam has this, the capacity is suitable for the amount of food that can be eaten for 3 weeks; but if the storage condition is ideal, if it does not encounter the above situation, it will not affect the consumption.
