The reason of their nearly extinction is like the leopard cat in Taiwan. Their habitat is shrinking due to human over develop the highway which also cause many car incidents. And some are poisoned by pesticide. Fewer than 250 Saolas remaining in the world lose their habitat owing to highway development. Polar bears are an endangered species that we all know. However, we haven’t done anything positive to preserve them. We all know ice burgs are melting, but we don’t notice even penguins outside of the Antarctic are threatened by climate change. Black rhinoceros are threatening for its horns. Hawksbill sea turtles and Formosan sika deers lose their lives because of human desire of their skin and appearance. Formosan clouded leopards are currently considered extinct. And, all species in the world are all related. An extinct species will have positive effect to other species. Every hour in the world, 3 species is going to extinct which means there are 26000 species are extinct in a year. If we can’t save those nearly extinct species, the ecosystem would be damaged. Earth is every species’ homeland. Several species on earth are in slow process of extinction. Maybe the next extinct species is ourselves, the human. When we dream to move to the next earth, can we take a look at our crying earth.
