Embroidered patches are often referred to as fabric patches, iron-on patches, or embroidered appliqués. However, most traditional fabric patches require ironing to adhere them to fabric surfaces or to mend holes. Our embroidered patches feature an adhesive backing that allows them to stick to smooth, non-fabric surfaces without ironing. They are perfect as stickers for water bottles, phone cases, laptops, notebooks, pencil cases, helmets, suitcases, and more. Let's create something unique together! 🏷 How do I use an embroidered patch? Using our embroidered patches is simple! ▪️ For smooth, non-fabric surfaces: Peel off the backing and stick. No ironing needed, and they stay put! ▪️ For fabric surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C (300°F). Place a pressing cloth over the patch to protect the embroidery threads. Iron for 20-25 seconds, then allow it to cool completely. For extra durability, reinforce with needle and thread. If you don't have an iron, sewing with a machine or by hand will also ensure a secure attachment! 🏷 What if I can't iron or am unsure about ironing my fabric? For materials that cannot be ironed (e.g., down jackets, nylon, leather, waterproof fabrics) or if you're uncertain about ironing, we recommend sewing the patch on with a machine or by hand to avoid heat damage to your items. 🏷 How strong is the adhesive? Will it fall off easily? Our embroidered patches have a strong adhesive backing that resists peeling on regular smooth, non-fabric surfaces. For fabric applications (clothing, pants, hats, etc.), ironing and sewing are recommended for enhanced durability. 🏷 Will the embroidered patch fall off after washing? Once ironed and reinforced with sewing, the embroidered patch can withstand machine washing and is unlikely to detach. We suggest washing inside out in a laundry bag. 🏷 Can embroidered patches be reapplied? The adhesive on our embroidered patches is for single use and cannot be reapplied. Please confirm your desired placement before sticking. If you remove the patch and wish to reuse it, the embroidered fabric itself can still be sewn onto fabric for decoration. 🏷 Will there be residue after removing the embroidered patch? Due to the strong adhesive, some residue may remain after removal. This can be cleaned with sticker removers or adhesive solvents. Before applying any cleaner, please test it on an inconspicuous area of your item to ensure it won't cause damage. Do not use a hairdryer to remove residue, as heat can melt the adhesive, making it stickier and harder to remove!
