I made a lot of "Awaji knots" which are the basics of Mizuhiki knots.
"Awaji knot" has the meaning of sealing and warding off evil because it cannot be easily untied once it is tied. Also, if you pull both ends, it will be tied more strongly, so it also means a matchmaking.
The size is perfect for business cards, and it’s holds about 10 business cards.
I made it with the hope that it would be a chance to talk with people I meet for the first time.
It is also recommended as a gift for men.

Japanese traditional culture "Mizuhiki"
Mizuhiki is made into a string with Japanese paper “washi”.
Mizuhiki is made by drawing water glue, drying it, and hardening it, then coloring it, or wrapping it with paper or thread.
The general length of Mizuhiki is 90 cm. It is about 1mm in diameter.
There are many kinds of Mizuhiki.
I mainly use the types of "Kinu-Mizuhiki" and "Hana-Mizuhiki".
These are wrapped around the outside with rayon thread.
