1989 Boston Ranger 55 Vintage Pencil Sharpener, Pre-owned Stationery, Made in USA

【Vintage BOSTON Ranger 55】 Patented and manufactured starting in the 1950s, this pencil sharpener was produced by the American Hunt Company. It features a six-hole rotating disk for various pencil sizes. A lever on the handle allows selection of three sharpening points. With its refined aesthetic, robust metal construction, and solid craftsmanship, it is a favored piece among many designers and art creators. Boston pencil sharpeners were consistently made in the USA until the early 2000s when they were acquired by X-Acto. After the acquisition, the Ranger 55 production line moved to China. The manufacturing quality and materials used can no longer be compared to the products of that era. This is a pre-owned writing instrument, made in the USA in 1989.
