Camouflage is defined by its ability to conceal oneself within the environment, rendering the wearer unseen by enemies. The Ardennes is a forest-covered hilly region located on the border of Belgium and Luxembourg. In December 1944, Germany launched an offensive in the Ardennes region of Europe during the Western Front... That winter, amidst the heavy snowfall in the Ardennes forest, the interplay of dark tree shadows against the white snow created the iconic and memorable appearance of the Ardennes Forest camouflage. I have simplified and stylized this, applying it extensively in NOELC's creations, appearing on menswear, womenswear, cycling gear, and footwear. --- About the Product --- ARLEQUIN's Seamless Line is crafted from a blend of 70% rubber and 30% leather. This product features a distinctive "glossy and smooth" texture, combining the vintage feel of leather with the elasticity of rubber, utilizing design and manufacturing methods that leverage these unique properties. Due to the rubber's characteristics, the Seamless Line products do not require edge finishing and are joined using industrial-grade adhesives. Leather naturally develops a patina over time with use, offering a unique pleasure as it evolves with the owner's handling. ● Please refrain from using this product for purposes other than its intended use. ● As this is a leather product, there may be individual variations in color tone and texture. ● For minor smudges, gently wipe with a soft cloth. ● Areas in contact with oils, such as hand oils, will darken and will soon permeate the entire product. We hope you will cherish these natural changes that occur with long-term use. ● Contact with moisture may cause spotting, fading, deformation, or rust (on metal parts). ● Exposure to direct sunlight, fire, heaters, or other high-temperature conditions, as well as contact with organic solvents or gasoline, may cause discoloration, deformation, or degradation of quality. ● Prolonged exposure to high temperatures and humidity can lead to mold growth. Therefore, please store in a well-ventilated area. ● Rubbing the surface with sharp objects may cause the material to crack. The colored surface may also peel, so please exercise caution.
