Woodblock printing is a rare technique today due to the significant time and effort involved. First, each pattern is meticulously hand-carved. The process of carving a single block can take anywhere from a week to a month, requiring great patience. However, the charm lies in the freedom to combine different patterns and colors, allowing for the creation of an infinite variety of designs. Furthermore, the subtle variations in ink coverage and slight misalignments that occur during the manual stamping process lend a unique appeal, distinguishing it from uniform, industrially produced items. While we have experience with silk printing, we now exclusively focus on woodblock printing for our creations. We use environmentally friendly water-based inks.
