▲ Located near the Himalayas, boiled wool is a refined craft from Kashmir, born from the need to endure the region's extreme cold. At high altitudes, water boils at a lower temperature. In the early morning, as the sun rises, wool products are immersed in melted snow water from the plateau, then heated to a boil. By evening, as the sun sets, the woolens are dried under the moonlight. This meticulous process not only removes impurities but also causes the wool to shrink, tightly bonding the fibers. Finally, women intricately hand-weave and embroider each piece, creating textiles with unique colors and stitching.

▲ Hand-wash recommended. Machine washing is possible if placed in a laundry bag.
▲ Material
100% Himalayan Kashmir Wool + Handcrafted Beads
▲ Dimensions
70 x 180 cm (Handcrafted items may have slight variations in size.)
▲ Recommended Cleaning Method
1. In a basin, dissolve an appropriate amount of laundry powder in slightly warm water. Gently press the scarf down into the water with both hands, pressing about twenty to thirty times. This allows the soapy water to flow through the fibers, preventing them from tangling.
2. Rinse using the same pressing motion until the scarf is clean.
3. Gently squeeze out excess water. Lay the scarf flat on a towel or drying rack in a shaded area to air dry naturally. Direct sunlight can cause wool to yellow.
