Fantastic Rare 1930/40s Czech Rainbow Glass Art Deco Bronze Necklace

Stunning 1930s/40s Art Deco Czech Rainbow Glass Antique Bronze Necklace Czech glass craftsmanship originated in the 9th century, and by the 18th century it had become a world-renowned crystal glass manufacturing region. Rainbow Iris glass was produced in Czechoslovakia in the early 1900s. To imitate the clearness of Iris quartz (aurora quartz), which refracts the seven rainbow lights, red, blue and green dyes were added to the transparent glass. This product, called Rainbow Iris glass, was very popular in the 1920s-50s. The early rainbow glass had a softer color and was mostly in block and back-translucent inlay. The later-produced rainbow glass tends to have brighter colors, and the colors are mostly distributed in strips, wrapped with a thin metal foil layer or inlaid on a metal-coated base, creating a sparkle similar to diamonds and Rhine Gemstone. This antique Bronze rainbow glass necklace contains two different methods of rainbow glass. The main Stone is a block-shaped dyed teardrop-shaped cut crystal glass. A total of eight strip-shaped dyed small glass Stone on the necklace are inlaid with open-back claws to increase light transmission. The shape of the metal strip in the center of the Bronze necklace is the transition from the late Art Deco to the mid-century style, which is simple and geometric without being complicated. Art Deco originated in France and flourished between the two world wars. The smooth and sharp lines are interwoven, and the mathematical dynamics are emphasized in the beauty. The chain clasp is an early spring ring clasp, which is larger in size and has a thicker spring mechanism. This kind of workmanship was very common in the late 1930s to the early 1950s.
