George Mackay set foot on this distant island to bring the gospel to the Taiwanese people. His diary records an evening when he, his wife, and his students were attacked by a group of xenophobic locals on their way to preach at the church. The angry crowd assaulted them, injuring a student and nearly blinding his wife. After escaping through a narrow alley, he calmly proceeded to the church and delivered a sermon based on a verse from Psalms: From this time on, the Lord will protect His faithful people, just as mountains surround Jerusalem. This scripture was later engraved on Rev. Mackay's tombstone, a testament to his perilous journey across cultures and his profound experience of God's true protection. If converted to clip-ons, the material is nickel-free copper alloy electroplated spiral clip-ons (the spiral clip-on head is flat and round, unlike the more varied styles of the ear posts shown in the photo). ◆**Earring Size|** Please refer to photos 8 and 9 (the spacing between the holes on the backing card is 1.5 cm). **▎Packaging** ◆ Outer shipping box with shock-absorbing shredded paper inside. ◆ Multiple pairs of earrings will be placed in a single box for shipping. **▎Before You Buy** ◆ These earrings can be converted to clip-ons and are suitable for those without pierced ears! ◆ All photos are taken in natural light, but colors may vary slightly due to individual monitor settings.
