It's as if one can still glimpse Mr. Miyahara Takeo, in his fifties, quietly dedicating himself to Taiwan's medical, educational, and political spheres within these walls. After the war, the scene shifted; Mr. Miyahara Takeo's presence vanished, leaving only the residence, abandoned and empty. Who still remembers the Japanese doctor who devoted himself to Taiwan's healthcare, contributed to its education, and strived for its political advancement? Therefore, through an audio guide, we aim to lead you to understand Miyahara Takeo as a person, the historical background of the residence he lived in, and its present transformation. Today, the residence is managed by the Homeward Path Foundation. It revitalizes historical buildings and integrates concepts of "silver hair, cultural and creative industries, and participation."
