Taiwan Endemic Species: Alishan Gentiana Art Keychain

The Gentiana, as its name suggests, signifies bitterness. It thrives in open, sunny areas at mid to high altitudes, on scree slopes or in forests. Blooming between April and September, the Gentiana is highly sensitive to sunlight; its flowers close when clouds gather and the weather changes. According to specimen records by T. Kawakami on July 10, 1933, the collection site was Zhushan in the Alishan mountain range. However, the specimens were actually collected on the route from Alishan to Yushan, and Gentiana is not distributed in Alishan itself. This handcrafted accessory is inspired by original hand-painted watercolors. Approximately 4*3.9cm.
