Embroidered patches are often called embroidered fabric stickers, fabric patches, iron-on patches, or embroidered appliqués. However, most embroidered fabric patches require ironing to adhere and are typically used to decorate fabric items or mend holes in clothing. Our embroidered patches feature an adhesive backing that sticks without ironing, making them suitable for smooth, non-fabric surfaces. They're perfect as stickers for water bottles, phone cases, laptops, notebooks, pencil cases, helmets, luggage, and more! Let's create something unique with these patches! 🏷 How do I use embroidered patches? Using our embroidered patches is simple! ▪️ For smooth, non-fabric surfaces: Peel off the backing and stick it on. No ironing needed, and it stays put! ▪️ For fabric surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C. Place a pressing cloth over the patch to protect the embroidery thread from high heat. Iron for 20-25 seconds, then allow it to cool completely to ensure a firm bond. For extra durability, reinforce with needle and thread. If you don't have an iron, sewing the patch onto fabric with a sewing machine or by hand will also ensure it stays securely in place! 🏷 What if I can't iron or am unsure about ironing my fabric? For materials that cannot be ironed (e.g., down jackets, nylon, leather, waterproof fabric) or if you're unsure about ironing, we recommend sewing the patch on with a sewing machine or by hand to prevent damage from high heat. 🏷 How strong is the adhesive? Will it fall off easily? Our embroidered patches have a strong adhesive backing. They adhere well to most smooth, non-fabric surfaces and are not prone to falling off. If applying to fabric items (clothing, pants, hats, etc.), ironing and reinforcing with stitches will significantly increase their durability. 🏷 Will the embroidered patches come off after washing? Once ironed and reinforced with stitching, the embroidered patches can withstand machine washing without easily detaching. We suggest washing them inside out in a laundry bag. 🏷 Can embroidered patches be repositioned? The adhesive backing on our embroidered patches is for single use and cannot be repositioned. Please confirm the desired placement before applying. If you remove the patch and wish to reuse it, the fabric patch can still be sewn onto fabric items for decoration! 🏷 Will there be residue after removing the patch? Our embroidered patches have a strong adhesive. Some residue may be left behind after removal. This residue can be cleaned with sticker removers or adhesive solvents. Before using any cleaning agent, please test it on an inconspicuous area to ensure it won't damage your item's surface. Do not use a hairdryer to remove residue, as the adhesive can melt and become even stickier and harder to remove.
