Apatite Necklace. The main stone and accent stones are all apatite. The central main pendant measures 55x47mm (width x height). The wire used is antiqued pure copper wire, and the clasp is brass. The total length of the necklace is 45cm. When creating this piece, the initial plan was for the main pendant structure and the woven decorative elements on the sides. The intention for the chain portion was to use a ready-made pure copper chain. However, as I had some apatite beads of a similar hue at hand, I decided to add a few more decorative links. The original idea was to make it long enough so that the stones would be visible from the front when worn. But as my hands got to work, I found myself completing the entire length of the necklace. Since I had started this way, all subsequent new necklaces have maintained the same standard, with all recent creations featuring both stones and woven chain elements. I suspect I'm not the only artisan who becomes more determined to perfect their craft once they begin, but this is also a process of self-dialogue, searching for the best path. I hope these efforts will translate into even better works for everyone. ❖ Product photos are mostly taken in natural daylight. Dimensions are listed as length x width (x thickness). ❖ Metalwork and sterling silver jewelry pieces do not come with a default chain. In addition to commercially available silver chains, stainless steel chains are also recommended for pieces treated with a sulfide antiquing finish, as they complement the color palette. ❖ Minor indentations or cuts from wire manipulation may be present during the metal wire weaving process, but these generally do not affect wearability. ❖ "Artistic copper wire" refers to craft-specific wire consisting of a copper core, plating, and a protective layer. "Red copper wire" and "brass wire" indicate bare copper wire (without plating). Sterling silver wire will be specified as 925 or 999 silver. ❖ Natural stones may inherently feature characteristics such as inclusions, patterns, or minor imperfections. Small flaws may also be present from the drilling or polishing process. ❖ The default packaging is simple, including clean protective padding and a shipping bag. A sealed bag will also be provided for convenient storage. 【Artistic Copper Wire Woven Jewelry】 ❖ Artistic copper wire is a specialized craft wire composed of a copper core, plating, and a protective layer. With normal use and care, its color can remain largely unchanged for several years. ❖ Due to the plating and protective layer on the surface, please refrain from using silver polishing cloths or toothpaste for cleaning, as this will rapidly degrade the plating. ❖ After wearing, gently wipe away any moisture, especially sweat, with a soft cloth and store in the provided sealed bag. ❖ Please avoid wearing during activities that cause heavy sweating, such as sports, and when visiting hot springs. This can accelerate wire degradation and potentially damage natural stones. 【Unplated Copper/Silver Wire Woven Jewelry / Sterling Silver Metalwork Jewelry】 ❖ Red copper, brass, and silver wires are unplated. Natural oxidation is a normal phenomenon, causing them to gradually develop a patina (antique bronze/antique silver color). The resulting color and rate of oxidation will vary depending on wear and individual body chemistry, which is part of the unique character of bare wire jewelry. Red copper tends to oxidize faster (potentially turning antique red-brown within days to weeks), while brass and silver oxidize more slowly. ❖ Wires treated with a sulfide (antiquing) finish exhibit more stable color tones compared to untreated wires, though polished areas will still gradually oxidize naturally. ❖ If you wish to clean oxidized areas, you can generally use a silver polishing cloth or gently brush with toothpaste, then dry thoroughly or use a hairdryer on a cool setting. ❖ After wearing, wipe away any moisture with a soft cloth and store in the provided sealed bag. ❖ Please avoid wearing during activities that cause heavy sweating, such as sports, and when visiting hot springs. This can accelerate wire oxidation and potentially damage natural stones. ❖ Pieces made with unplated wire can be sent back for re-polishing at a later date (only requiring the sender to cover round-trip shipping costs). 【Natural Stones】 ❖ Natural gemstones may inherently have inclusions, patterns, minor chips, or black spots. Small imperfections may also exist from the drilling or polishing processes. ❖ The natural stones used in the pieces are mostly semi-precious stones. Some types of stones may have lower hardness (this will be specifically noted).
