After three years of immersing myself in the epidemic, I embarked on my first grand tour in 2023. Why is it called a grand tour? Because this year’s travel experience is of special significance to me. That was the first time in my life that I packed up my camping equipment, put on a heavy backpack, flew to the North, and walked into the King’s Trail in the wilderness. I hiked more than 100 kilometers on this trip, and it was the first time I took myself on such a long journey. In September of the same year, I accompanied my sister to her dream place - Alaska. We went to Denali National Park to see the red mountains and fields, took the train to Fairbanks to encounter the aurora, and took a bumpy ride. The minibus crossed the Arctic Circle. At the end of the year, I went on a trip around the island with my family. These days on the road, whether it is the vast nature or an ordinary meal with my family, to me, they are beautiful scenery that I want to treasure in my heart. The scenery along the way is a gift of a lifetime. So I painted this series over many nights and many sunrises. As a painter, when I bring you these scenery of life, the journey seems to have truly come to an end.
